A glimpse into the future: Futures Thinking Conference
What a glimpse into the future, or rather into the futures. 🔭
Many people were interested in a glimpse into the future on Tuesday, October 17 at the Founders Foundation, or according to the motto of the Futures Thinking Conference, A Glimpse into the Future.
It started with the question: "How do you look into the future? Where do you place yourself on the four-field matrix - optimistic or pessimistic, strong or weak self-efficacy (according to the Polak game)?" Methods for actively shaping the future were learned and tested together at the Futures Thinking Conference 🚀
After a keynote speech by OIC Ambassador Kathrin Obernhumer on the innovative power of cities, we immersed ourselves in the methods and approaches of Futures Thinking. After a keynote speech by Eva Bock, who led the workshop, the participants learned about various futures thinking methods and were able to try them out for themselves. This resulted in futures that the participants presented in short statements or performances.
Over snacks and drinks, the many participants were able to get to know each other and talk about the future.
The event was moderated by OIC team members Maria Gonçalves and Sarah Centgraf.
