Innovation Office Open, centralized, transparent
New project milestone
The completion of the Innovation Office marks another milestone in the Open Innovation City project. As a fixed point and launch pad for forward-looking initiatives, it is to become the first point of contact for the open, innovative city of the future. The Office establishes the connection between science, business, politics and urban society in a physical space, thereby expanding the possibilities for establishing a new innovator network.
The approximately 190 m² space and two floors provide six permanent workstations for the OIC team. In addition, there are workshop and meeting rooms as well as an " Innovation Bar " coupled with a multifunctional event space that can be booked by anyone interested with a relevant request.Due to the Corona pandemic, only very limited access was granted to external guests. Nevertheless, the premises are very well prepared for the current pandemic situation. In order to ensure the safest possible stay in the office, guests and employees will find disinfection dispensers, FFP2 masks, Corona rapid tests and online registration for contact tracking in addition to CO2 detectors.
