VORDENKER Podcast Episode #39 with Jörn von Lucke

In a conversation with Helen Bielawa, von Lucke talks about why digitization processes in administrations take so long, what is currently happening and what opportunities will arise in the future through Web 3 and the Internet of Things. With this podcast episode we say goodbye to the Christmas break and start again fresh with you in January!

Our guest today, Jörn von Lucke, was born in Bielefeld, but has lived in Friedrichshafen for many years, where he heads the Open Government Institute at Zeppelin University and is a professor of administrative and business informatics.

He has been working on the opportunities of digitalization for administration since the 90s. In the Vordenker Podcast, he explains why this process is taking so long, what is currently happening and what opportunities will arise in the future from Web 3 and the Internet of Things.

Von Lucke also helped develop the Open Societal Innovation Toolbox (TOSIT): A database that collects applications, formats, methods, services and examples around open societal innovation.

In addition, von Lucke reports exciting insights from the T-City project, with which Telekom tested information and telecommunications technologies in Friedrichshafen together with science, administration, citizens and business.

Look forward to the new episode, which can be listened to as usual on all common platforms and is of course also here available!

This is the last Vordenker episode for the current calendar year. We will start again with you on January 12, 2023!
