"The pressure to innovate in the social sector is lacking. This sector will have to cope with so many challenges for us as a society, but we don't put enough resources into it. That annoys us," says Jella Riesterer, co-chair of Freiburg's Grünhof coworking space and head of the associated Social Innovation Lab. The lab therefore supports founders with innovative ideas for the social sector. The focus is on solutions for disadvantaged groups, i.e. migrants, people with disabilities, children or people in need of care.

Jella explains in the current Vordenker episode why innovations in this area are important, where the challenges lie and why cooperation between different partners is particularly helpful here. You can also learn more about the history of Grünhof and this special combination of coworking and the mission to promote social innovation.

Look forward to the new episode, which as usual can be listened to on all common platforms and of course is also here available!
