Networking with two ecosystems: Dutch TechValley in exchange with OIC

Last Thursday, a delegation from Parbleu (North Holland) visited us in Bielefeld! The eleven-member group, consisting of experts from the Dutch TechValley (cluster for medium-sized companies/plant and mechanical engineering), accepted our invitation and spent two days in Ostwestfalen-Lippe as part of an innovation exchange.

Together with representatives from mechanical engineering, science and administration, they met the network of owl maschinenbau e.V., among others. The goal was to network two ecosystems to create an international, sustainable and innovative community. On the one hand, getting to know the Pioneers Club and the Founders Foundation gGmbH was on the agenda. On the other hand, an intensive workshop at the Fachhochschule des Mittelstands (FHM) was also on the agenda, which was primarily intended to promote matching with local organizations, institutes and companies. The trip was rounded off with a visit to the Innovation Campus Lemgo with a guided tour of the SmartFactoryOWL. All in all, it was a very fruitful two days, which showed that the cooperation of two international clusters can create many new opportunities for future collaborations. Many thanks also to the representatives of TechValley as well as to all German partners for this smooth process!
