Future of Work Meetup

What will the working world of tomorrow look like? And how can modern working methods and processes be set in motion and implemented? On February 24, we invite companies, institutions, associations, citizens' initiatives, cultural institutions and representatives of the city to discuss this. The event will take place online.

The topic of New Work is on everyone's lips and seems to be more topical than it has been for a long time. People have been talking about the "New Work" since the 1980s. Due to the changes brought about by the pandemic situation, many employees and entrepreneurs have had to rethink and reorganize more than ever before. As a result, home offices and digital meetings have become the norm in knowledge jobs and are no longer anything special in all medium-sized companies from OWL. However, New Work is much more than that if we put people's needs at the center of work.

So what does the future of work look like? What are companies and institutions currently dealing with and at what point of change are they? In the Meetup we will discuss who are the global pioneers:inside the movement and will learn from the best.

With the Meetup we want to

  • Create inspiration and participation through best practices;
  • Facilitate a collegial case consultation;
  • Invite exciting thought leaders to Bielefeld

and, most importantly, build a community composed of diverse urban society groups!

The kick-off will take place digitally on February 24, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Invited are companies, institutions, associations, citizens' initiatives, cultural institutions or representatives:inside the city who want to make a difference.

Agenda:

  • Introduction - What is it about? What can we do?
  • Jannis Johannmeier, CEO of The Trailblazers GmbH "Old World vs. New World."
  • Benjamin Hellbusch, Director Operational Excellence of u+i interact GmbH. "Shared Desk - What will the workplace of tomorrow look like?"
  • Exchange
  • Planning next Meetup and events from the community
